Remember a charity

7 September 2016

Remember a Charity in your Will Week starts 12 September.  This year’s campaign is about sharing life’s learnings and we’re asking you to pass on one thing you’ve learnt in life.  We are looking for all sorts of snippets of information, from the answer to life’s big questions, to little insights that have got you through the day.  You can share your words of wisdom on our Twitter page (@CardiffBlind) or via www.rememberacharity.org.uk

We asked our President Sir Gareth Edwards for his words of wisdom and he recalled his old rugby master at Millfield School, who said: “Don’t look down on people just because you’re better than them.”  Sir Gareth added:  “I think he thought I had a talent and whilst I didn’t look down on anyone as a miner’s son in a school of children whose parents were barristers and bankers, he was probably just making sure I didn’t lose myself should success come.”

If you want to know more about leaving a legacy so that Cardiff Institute for the Blind can help blind and partially sighted people enjoy active and fulfilled lives, please contact us via 029 2039 8900 or [email protected].
