Deafblind UK Partnership

We have established a partnership with Deafblind UK to address the needs of our members who are suffering from a dual sensory loss.
At present we are only scratching the surface in service provision and would like to explore means of expanding our services.
As you know we are totally dependent on our volunteers to assist us in setting up and running the services we provide and this service is no different.
Now that we have committed ourselves to this partnership we need to find new or existing volunteers who would like to participate in this service. Deafblind UK are willing to provide free training to all those interested, which will include signing using the deafblind manual.
The activities centre on the new club held here at the C.I.B. on the 3rd Friday of every month fron 10.30am - 12.30pm.
Anyone with a sight and hearing impairment are welcome.
Volunteers will be on hand to assist if need be.
