What is a Home Visiting Service?
An individually planned Befriending Service whereby the volunteers use their sight in a practical way to help the visually impaired person.
Who can use the service?
All visually impaired people living within the Counties of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan regardless of registration.
What can the service be used for?
Reading, writing letters, shopping, escorting and companionship.
Who supports the volunteers?
The Volunteer Co-ordinators support and advise as and when required.
How often will I be needed?
That's up to you. As a volunteer you can offer as little or as much as you are able.
