What is a Home Visiting service?
An individually planned befriending service whereby volunteers use their sight in a practical way to help the visually impaired person
Who can use the service?
All visually impaired people regardless of registration living within the counties of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
What can the service be used for?
Companionship, reading, writing of letters, escorting etc, but not for domestic work, decorating or gardening.
Is there a charge?
No - but you will be expected to cover the volunteer's costs if you want to attend the theatre etc.
