Life with sight loss can be a challenge. Being diagnosed with an eye condition can be a frightening and anxious time. If you want to talk to someone, we’re here to listen. Sight Life is committed to supporting people with sight loss in South Wales to live the lives that they want.

Our aim is to support blind and partially sighted people to maintain or improve their physical and emotional well-being by providing advice and support to help people to:

• exercise,
• manage medication,
• eat healthily,
• increase confidence and self-esteem,
• give them a sense of security and future,
• reduce incidents of falls and accidents.

We want people to enjoy independent and fulfilled lives by helping them to:

• be part of a community,
• take part in social and leisure activities,
• get out and about more,
• be able and willing to shop alone,
• visit friends,
• digitally included,
• have more income and be able to manage money,
• volunteer or work, and
• take part in lifelong learning.

We are a relatively small charity. When you contact us, you may not always be able to speak to the right member of staff straight away. However, we will always ensure that someone responds to you as soon as possible.
