In Honour of Sir Gary Sobers' Six Sixes

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Sir Gary Sobers amazing feat in 1968 we are holding a tribute evening at The SWALEC Stadium in Sophia Gardens the home of Glamorgan Cricket Club on the 16th June 2008.
Joining Sir Gary on the night will be members of the 1968 teams of Glamorgan and Nottingham to relive that iconic moment in sporting history with other celebrities from the world of sport to pay their own tributes.
A special Caribbean/Welsh menu has been created for the Black Tie Dinner by Glamorgan CC and the end of evening entertainment will be provided by Wales' top comedian Rod Woodward.
The evening in addition to honouring Gary Sobers will be to raise funds for the Cardiff institute for the Blind, and there will be items of unique cricket memorabilia for auction under the hammer of football legend Duncan McKenzie our MC for the night.
The ticket price is £60 per person or for a table of ten it is £550
